ESB 2022

32nd Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB).

The motto of the ESB 2022 Conference was “Innovative Biomaterials and Translational Research”

One of the key missions of this conference was to promote interactions between academic researchers, applied scientists, clinicians, and the industry in order to drive the development of innovative solutions for clinical applications. We keenly understand that the new solutions to repair or produce tissues or organs will come from the combination of fundamental knowledge, multidisciplinary development efforts, as well as advances in production/ analytic/ imaging/ communication tools. This event was hosted by France, and co-organized by the BIOMAT association.

Congrès BIOMAT 2021

Ce congrès, qui s’est déroulé du 19 au 22 octobre 2021, au cœur des Alpes, a rassemblé plus d’une centaine de chercheurs, acteurs industriels et cliniciens autour de thématiques visant au développement et à l’évaluation de biomatériaux.

Il était co-organisé par plusieurs laboratoires de la Région Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, et exposait notamment les travaux des Prof. P. Dubruel, K. Schenke-Layland, C. Picart et A. Cribier, ainsi que de L. Moroni, J. Leijten, et L. Vidal entre autres.

Une journée était organisée par la section jeunes chercheur.ses, avec au programme : tables rondes (Post-doc abroad, Career in academia or industry, Gender equality in research, Entrepreneurship), 4 workshops (Medical device regulation, Career in academia and industry, Find and apply for funding), et un évènement social en soirée !
